Fare-wells impending

At the end of August, the flat as we know it will change. Wakefield (middle) is heading home, so we all cooked a couple of dishes each to have a last supper in the backyard – note outrageous levels of growth – ‘wild’ tomatoes and pumpkins back wall, different pumpkin variety ‘ram’s kodu’ to the right.

Some of the spread, top left are morri’s mini fritattas, then fiorella’s bean balls, rice salad a la wakey, cam’s mix of lettuce from the garden salad and lucy’s corn salad – health explosion!
