Galettes galore!
August 10, 2014
So great to get to spend time with Frank and Laura and to hang out in their apartment. They also cooked up a storm with Laura mastering the Galette pans – buckwheat crepes loaded with savoury fillings – the best!
We explored the immense Père Lachaise Cemetery, it’s like exploring a new neighbourhood except the streets are lined with graves and tombs. It also thundered down with rain, turning the larger tombs into convenient sheltered acloves.
Busy beside the Sacre Coeur in Monmartre – windy too! Another great outlook of the city and wandering through the neighbourhood collecting tasty treats for our evening dinns at Frank and Laura’s.
Thanks to Frank for putting together this panorama of his and Cam’s exploration of the roof at their apartment – great lookout!
