Bumbag Motel

I still had a final 10 days in London to finish up work, so spent the weekend at Kate and Nick’s place lapping up delicious eats like these chestnut crepes and a wonderful spiced pear cake. Also watched classic movies ‘when harry met sally’ (for the first time) and the intense but very well done ‘raging bull’. Such a delectable and entertaining weekend – thanks Kate and Nick, I’m going to miss these times!

Amsterdam arrival, first purchase: bicycle – check!

Many fond memories to take with us of our 18 months together at Fullerton road with the giant above. Abel and Coles, cooking, growing our own fruit and vege, being bombarded with guitar and vocals  and having the opportunity to rant away the live long day!!

Delightful get together at Kaff bar in Brixton before moving our things to amsterdam.

Wonderful autumn eve for clearing out the bandstand bed squash and bean patches for the winter, and enjoy a drink with Fiona, Fiorella and David – thanks so much for a brilliant experience mucking in on Clapham Common!!

Enjoyed a finale rainy Sunday by having beers with Latham and Donna about Shoreditch, then meeting Kate and Nick (above) to have a delicious dinn dinns at Tayyabs in Whitechapel. Busy place for tasty treats – the pumpkin filled sweet naan was a delectable new addition for the tastebuds!

Attended my last Brixton People’s Kitchen committee meeting. This one was held at Johanna’s workplace ‘Sidekick studios’ where ironically Cam had been working over the past few weeks on the website http://www.lostmy.name/ (great idea for 2 to 6 year olds!). One last eat and drinks at fullerton with Scott and Sarah before the Amsterdam migration begins!
