Had an excellent catch up evening at the Queen Adelaide to welcome in the 30’s for Scott and Cam. Too much talking meant I forgot about camera, and only got this lovely midnight countdown snap of the birthday boys.
An introduction to conkers

Camilla introduced me to the autumn English tradition of ‘conkers’, where you put a hole through a horse chestnut, attached string then take goes at trying to destroy another’s. Sounds vicious but is actually not as ferocious as it sounds as you are supposed to aim for the conker, not the human.

After a most delicious and different Sunday brunch at Caravan with Kate (peanut and white chocolate muffins – yes!), we checked out the Skip community garden and then lounged on the grass steps below.
