Saturday eve drinking

Drinking out and about in Kreuzberg on a Saturday eve, finished up at this squat bar where, per chance, Mark who lives here and Mark who was visiting from Istanbul called in for a nightcap.

Touring time

Had Cam’s cousin Matt and his fiance Tracey to stay on their van trip about Europe, got to peruse some more Berlin sights such as Reichstag and Tiergarten including Biergarten in Tiergarten.

Natural History

What perfect way after Reading detox than to peruse the delights of the Natural History Museum. Cam was delighting in some giant sized sloth.

Reading – Day three

Joyous times on day three with many old school bands mania with Limp Bizkit, Cypress Hill, Weezer and we checked out good unknowns called the Blacklisters and the Nerves. Niiiice.

Reading…day one

Here we have Cam and the most jubilant man on the planet: Chicken! Reading festival was a magnanimous glory time primarily because of the great contingent we had, there being multiple instances of emma laughing fits where I struggled for breath at ongoing hilarity. Lots of beers and ciders to whisk away the first day of bands. enjoyed an all female outfit called “Warpaint”, though was not to many’s liking – Guns’n’Roses blew out bigtime here too, coming on an hour late and getting their set cut because pretty much, they were shite!

European explorations with dad

Here we have me and dad on his last day in Berlin. Pretty teary times as we had a glorious past few weeks exploring Berlin together, including beers in Biergarten, having potluck dinns with my flatmates, getting drunk in Poland, hiking up Schrammsteine (sounds like a beer but it’s actually a massive rock/cliff just by “Bad Schandau”), sweating it out in Dresden, and teaching German kids about shearing sheep!

Not so many photos of these times as camera had other errands, though if you are in Invercargill, go say hi to Willie as he had his camera up and running, and captured some excellent shots!!!

Reading…day two

City exploration

We made our way to “Skansen” island whilst in Stockholm, Dad, mum and I are hanging by some of the boats along the way. We ended up having a peruse of the waterways later in the day to see some more of Stockhom’s key components before heading back to Berlin!

Stockholm, it is oooold

Had a pleasant day/night in the Swedish capital Stockholm on our way back. Such a gorgeous city with immensely old buildings all over the show and many a waterway. We seemed to hunt down the vegetarian buffets while there too, having it for both lunch and tea!
