Quite enjoy this unexpected snap of Cam and dad on the ‘Chums Gully’ walk behind Arrowtown on our last day in NZ before Amsterdam departure.

Day 2 of the mateymoon involved mountain biking the Dean Bank track. This is a photo of the post bike swim in the Clutha river, a much needed refreshment – particularly for Emma – who noted that the past few months of eating too many buffet lunches was not a good mix with outdoor pursuits.

So…on the drive over to Wanaka we realised that we were beginning the ‘mateymoon’. Day one of two: pretty much Lake Wanaka to ourselves.

Early morning drive took us over to Wanaka, the perfect place to rest up. Especially as it was super warm and the lake is RIGHT there to go swimming in!

All over too quickly, glorious days catching up with everyone, here with a finale dinns at Esplanade on St Clair’s beach – joy!
