First few days back in NZ were spent strolling about Arrowtown – I sometimes forget how totally awesome home is: mountains, lushness, fresh air, clear water…

6am flights to New Zealand are not ideal, but at least you get some sweet doom is upon us in the cloud photos!

Leisurely last day in Melbourne hanging with Leigh and Mabel and catching up with Steph and Horner for lunch! Sensational felafel happening here and pizzas like I have never seen – delicious!

I haven’t been so good at getting everyone to look this way – this is the best I got for this self-timer family snap.

10 min stroll gets us to CERES a great open space and community garden just around the corner from Leigh and Adam’s. The food was flavour sensational (as were all meals in Melbourne) and lovely atmosphere.

Had a wonderful Saturday brunch catching up with Cath and meeting her two ‘wee’ boys Freddie and Baxter. Freddie on the left there is about 4 months old and is huuuuge – you get a glimpse of the soft plush rolls on his arms here.

Leigh hosted mothers’ group on Friday, so got to hang out with 5 other babies, just call me the human jungle gym. Lucky Mabel and the mums to have such a lovely crew in the neighbourhood.

Got on a plane and 24 hours later I got to meet this gorgeous young lady, also known as my adorable niece Mabel! She lives in Melbourne with her mum Leigh (my sister) and her partner Adam. Here she is with my mum just after a bath – she is a big fan of necklaces.

Here we have Frank and Cam post a delightful explore of the Rijks museum on a sunny and crisp Sunday afternoon! Delicious treats enjoyed at ‘Buffet van Odette’ afterwards too.
