Touchdown in Melbourne where we got to collect Mabel from childcare – she was shy at first but we soon became mates. So nice to see her in real life again and that visits will not be so far apart in the future!

Cam and I reflect on the view from the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, after an explore through Dubai mall and its lake – complete with musically synchronised fountains.

With National day coming up it was UAE flags everywhere at the Gold Souk.

From Amsterdam 3 degrees and canal houses, to Dubai 30 degrees and skyscrapers…winter is quite a different experience. Stoked to catch up with Dave and Mary and get to join in some boat cruising in Dubai.

Last day living on this wonderful canal, Passeerdersgracht. Amsterdam, it has been a delight.

Cam and Tyler out front of the Rijks museum on our sayonara tour through the Steidlijk and Van Gogh museums. Then off to Henry’s 3d print shop, Troost brewery before final farewell drinks at our local Festina Lente – thank you Amsterdam for such memorable moments!

Bike riding around the north on the final Monday in Amsterdam, had lunch at the Tolhuis, visited the Coop cafe and had some afternoon beers at Pllek. Ah the serenity.

Had this guy join us from London to help fare well Europa in great festivity! Here enjoying the vegeterian schnitzel at The Movies, the oldest movie theatre in Amsterdam.  

Had some superb family time with Marieke, Chris and the lovely Emily today, hanging at home and heading out to lunch. Got some great tips for the evening antics too…
