Camilla and I ventured to Rotterdam for the day to have a peruse and meet up with her boyfriend and friends. Happy days catching up and strolling around the city.

Sunday was a merry day with Camilla arriving from the UK and crafternoon at Tyler’s, complete with wines – an excellent mix!

Enjoyed supping beers at ‘Butchers Tears’, a brewery in West Amsterdam and then sampling the amazing pizzas at ‘Sotto’, a restaurant close by – both excellent establishments!

Tyler whipped us up a sensational chilli and homemade garlic naan for one of the last dinns at her place before she moves yonder. Yumm-o!

Autumn in Amsterdam is a beautiful time of year, from the auburns, yellows and reds in Vondel park to the deep peach, pinks and purples of the sunsets – pretty!

Merry birthday returns to Cam! To celebrate we went for a bike ride explore of the north with Felix and Polly who were visiting for the day, excellent timing! Above we have Cam and Felix strolling about the on land harbour at De Ceuval, well worth a snoop!

  For Bex’s last weekend we did the free tour of Amsterdam, superb overview of the city’s history and stories about why the dutch are tall, bikes and the red light district. Above is Andrea, Bex and Claire enjoying our repose at the halfway mark on the Rokin.

I went to Groningen for the day with work and saw more of the dutch landscape – expansive skies and green fields.

Sunny Sunday bike ride took us past ‘Het Schip‘, social housing from the early 20th century in the suburb of Spaarndammerbuurt.
