We took Tofa along to a familar squat bar in Friedrichshain which has “voku” (people’s food) every Weds. You pay 2.50 for a three course meal which, on this evening, was an interesting concoction of cold cucumber soup, pink pasta and metled chocolate, berries and rice something something. With temperatures soaring to 39 degrees there is a lot of park hangtime and forever seeking the next thirst quencher. This was our first venture into “Hassenheide”, a large park in Neukoln – the open tundra behind us was no place for us to bathe this day.
