Farewell drinks for Rik, Ana and Cosmo were had in this immense restaurant ‘Cafe Amsterdam‘, which is in an old pumping station – building is massive! Perfect place to have some see ya later sups!

Was so great to go exploring the streets with Matt and Alyssa who came over from London for the weekend. Band time, home movie time, and new friends and 24,000 piece puzzle time. And if you were wondering – no it is not the camera angle, Alyssa is just riding a very very small bike.

I have been working for the social media team at Tommy Hilfiger since the start of the year (thank you Andrea) and been enjoying an alternate view of the winter sunset (as well as the working, meeting new people, the buffet lunch etc etc).

Winter has not been very cold, but dishing up some good sunsets as seen from our window…

Bike riding past Piet Heinkade led us along slippery waterside wharves and…table tennis…in January! Much excitement.

Keeping things quiet in January means day time bike riding, so pretty!

  Post dinner visit to Cafe de Wetering, wonderful brown bar not far from ours. Lefe and open fire – bliss! There was an involved game of Risk happening on the table behind us too.

Bike gang took off to Haarlem for the day, which was about an hour’s bike from Amsterdam so just a little less than leisurely. This was the nicest part with open fields, canals and a windmill or two.
