Cam getting the ‘ferry’ to Monty-land, an island inhabited by 50 people camping in tipis to celebrate Monty’s birthday!

Bike riding Sunday took us 10 kms out of amsterdam to the lovely Durgerdam! Apple pie by the waterway then biking back through the countryside and cuteness – splendid.

A 30 min Sunday bike north of Amsterdam brings you to Landsmeer, where some friends camped for the weekend – so easy!

Post ladies night dinner sees everyone in good form at Bar Mick, then onto bowls of punch at Vesper.

Here we have the wonderful Claire, Nikki and Tyler – some of the ‘lady night’ contingent that we have developed in Amsterdam. This evening was spent at the most delicious Japanese Pancake World and then onto a world of espresso martinis – all topped off with a song being written specifically about ladies night!

Hooned up to Hoorn on Jenni and Pete’s last day in the Netherlands, a beautiful city only 30 mins from Amsterdam. Things be old here with a whole lot of unicorns and boats!

Well earned beers after a day strolling about the Jordaan and checking out the Eye museum.

Jenni and Pete had the window wave mastered during their week in Amsterdam to their and everyone else in the street’s amusement. Sunny days exploring Amsterdam for these two, and then evening catch ups at home for us all.

Return to Amsterdam and had some great time hanging out at Jenni and Pete’s apartment for the week, right on Prinzengracht and just around the corner from our place – dreamy living!
